Premium Quality Features

     P&L doors and jambs are made in the USA
         from the finest wood solids, veneers, and
         engineered cores - for lasting beauty, strength,
         and structural stability.

     Stiles, rails, and panels are plain sliced veneer
         laminated onto a wheat board core (low formaldehyde)
         to insure stability and durability, eliminating panel splitting
         and minimizing expansion and contraction. Stiles, rails,
         and bladder formed veneer panels are constructed not to
         warp, split, or crack. Our stiles, rails, and panels are
         consistent in graining and color, creating a beautiful
         finished door.

     Lag Bolt Construction: Lag bolts are bored in from
         the edge of the door to tightly join the stiles and rails.
         These metal bolts are considerably stronger than
          wood dowels used by most manufacturers.

Choice of raised or flat panel profile

Choose from MDF, Red Oak, Poplar, Maple, Fir,
Cherry, Hickory, Walnut or Mahogany

12", 18", 24", 28", 30", 32" or 36" widths
and 80" (6/8) or 96" (8/0) heights

Doors are 1 3/8" thick.

         The wood in these doors comes from
         well managed forests, independently
         certified in accordance with the rules
         of the Forest Stewardship Council.

Every door goes through a 3-stage sanding process - the last stage of which a through inspection and sanding by hand to eliminate the cross-grain scratches that automated sanding machines make. By removing these blemishes, we give you a clean door that is virtually ready to stain and finish with minimal follow-up sanding. In addition, doors are examined under ultra violet light so that glue residue can be spotted and removed before shipment. All this extra care sets us apart from others in the industry and reduces the time and expense of on-site work.

When each local builder was his own millwork house beginning with only rough lumber and absolutely no battery driven tools. Their lumber yard was a saw mill and their building supply was a local general store. To construct and complete a structure, one had to be a craftsman first and a business person second. Most door slab orders ship within 7 working days.
Pre-hung unfinished door units ship in 3 - 4 weeks.
Factory Pre-finished Doors require 6 - 7 weeks for delivery.
Old English locksets ship in 4 - 6 weeks.
VELUX Skylights - laminated ship in 4 business days. Tempered glass ship in 7 - 10 business days, and copper, impact, and white laminated models require 30 days lead time.
Wasco Skylights- most ship in 2 days. Architectural styles require 3 - 4 week lead time.
